This light and airy beach house is located in Port Aransas, Texas. Pastel colours and plenty of white make it a sunny retreat to enjoy the summer.

Such a happy and livable family room. I love the striped rug.

The dining room is bright and cozy at the same time. The built-in bench and wall of windows make this small space seem much larger. Two vintage light fixtures, hung with nautical rope instead of standard chains illuminate the space.

Hanging a painting in the kitchen is a wonderful idea! Painting by Florida artist Justin Gaffrey

Downstairs master bathroom. Instead of a basic doorway between the downstairs bedroom and bath, the architects designed a glass wall as a divider, with grommeted curtain panels that can be pulled for privacy.
